Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 8 years of experience in software development.
- 3 years of experience with software design and architecture.
- Experience in managing teams of software engineers.
- Experience working with Java or Kotlin.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience communicating cross-functionally across a variety of audiences such as engineering, product management, and leadership.
- Experience in planning, tracking, prioritizing work for a team.
- Experience in Android and mobile development.
- Excellent communication skills with ability to maintain a culture of documentation.

Responsibilities
- Manage a new team of software engineers. Help them improve their skills, and progress in their careers. Guide to produce quality software, which is robust, well-tested, and maintainable.
- Create project roadmap for the team, including new technical and product opportunities that you identify.
- Work with product managers to define product strategy, and program managers to manage project execution. Oversee support activities, such as addressing partner bug reports, and ensure the team meets defined SLOs.
- Work with peer managers in Android Enterprise and other teams to ensure that we align on common goals, and manage dependencies between engineering teams.
- Comply with all company health and safety policies, procedures, and legal requirements.
