Role Description

This is a contract, on-site role for a Big Data Lead Data Engineer located in Bucharest, Romania. The Lead Data Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining data infrastructure and pipelines. Day-to-day tasks will include developing and optimizing data models, managing data warehousing, overseeing Extract Transform Load (ETL) processes, and performing data analytics. The role also involves collaborating with various teams to ensure data quality and accessibility.

Technical Skills:

  • 5+ years of experience in data engineering or related field;

  • Strong proficiency in PySpark, Python, and Unix scripting;

  • Experience with Kafka, CI/CD tools (Jenkins, JFrog, Ansible), and data modeling;

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make technical proposals;

  • Strong communication and leadership skills with a passion for mentoring and training.

Contract:: CIM ( permanent contract ) or B2B( up to 360 euro/day)
