Job Description
In the role of Lead Engineer for Safety Instrumented Systems (SIS), your responsibility will involve overseeing project management in the Oil & Gas, Chemical, Metals & Mining, or Pharmaceutical industries. Your focus will be on effectively deploying Safety Instrumented Systems such as Emergency Shutdown (ESD), Fire and Gas (FGS), or Burner Management Systems (BMS) using DeltaV SIS. In this role, you will undertake SIS concept and detail design tasks for software and hardware, software implementation, internal tests, and factory acceptance tests. You will coordinate the Project SIS & DCS teams in completing project-related engineering tasks and be accountable for the designated scope. We look forward to seeing your application

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

• Customer Relations – master client needs, expertly manage project scope, and ensure flawless delivery
• Lead engineering tasks for DeltaV SIS Software and Hardware, minimizing cost while meeting schedule and quality.
• Project Management – provide Project Managers with all necessary support and information to ensure that they are fully informed of resource requirements, progress, and areas of risk for the allocated tasks.
• Quality control – ensure that all engineering activities are undertaken by the Company's quality control processes and that the relevant standard is achieved – always enforce to the company's and customer's health, safety, and environmental standards.
• Technical knowledge – acquires, maintains, and actively shares knowledge and experience with the engineering team and the wider organization.

For This Role, You Will Need:

• Engineering degree.
• 8+ years of experience in automation project execution for different industry segments (Oil & Gas, Chemical, Metals & Mining, Pharma etc.) with focus on Safety Instrumented Systems (DeltaV SIS, others)
• Computer literate (MS Office) with software programming skills.
• Proficient in English.

Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:

• Willingness to travel with a European focus mainly for shorter periods (up to 50%) as required.
• A second European language.
