As a
Pre-Sales Consultant Engineer
, you'll be pivotal in driving our Cybersecurity strategy and boosting sales of services and solutions. You'll partner closely with our sales team to offer technical expertise, validate solutions, and guide clients through acquisition—building trust and long-term partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze client requirements and risk areas to recommend tailored solutions from our portfolio.
- Create high-level technical proposals and solution designs that seamlessly integrate into a client's infrastructure.
- Configure and deliver demos and Proofs of Concept (PoC) to demonstrate solution effectiveness.
- Present and commercialize solutions—balancing budget, efficiency, and technical value.
- Draft technical documentation, prepare offers, and respond to RFI/RFQ/RFP requests in collaboration with sales and cross-functional teams.
- Foster and maintain trusted advisory relationships with clients around their Cybersecurity needs.
- Monitor Cybersecurity trends (e.g., CSPM/CWPP, IAM, XDR, NIS2, DORA, supply-chain security), analyze the competitive landscape, and uncover new commercial opportunities.
- Support product portfolio evolution by sharing market-driven feedback and enhancing solution offerings.
- Organize internal and external technical trainings for colleagues, partners, and clients.
- Collaborate with vendors and distributors to ensure offerings align with client needs.
What We're Looking For
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Strong knowledge of Cybersecurity technologies: firewalls, IDS/IPS, EDR/XDR, SIEM, network and cloud security.
- Minimum 2 years in pre-sales, technical consulting, or similar—preferably in Cybersecurity.
- Experience delivering demos, PoCs, technical proposals, and responding to RFI/RFP documentation.
- Fluent English and willingness to travel across Romania when needed.
Nice to Have:
- Certifications like CISSP, CEH, CompTIA Security+, or CISM.
- Involvement in implementation projects for deeper feasibility insight.
