Responsibilities

This is a full-time on-site role for a Dispatcher located in Bucharest.

  • Route planning and optimization:
    Set optimal routes for trucks, considering distances, traffic patterns, and customer needs. Maximize efficient use of resources and minimize transport costs.
  • Real-time truck monitoring:
    Using GPS tracking systems, ensure vehicles follow planned routes and meet delivery times. Monitoring enables rapid response to delays or technical issues.
  • Constant communication with drivers:
    Maintain continuous contact with drivers to resolve issues during deliveries, such as mechanical breakdowns, traffic congestion, or other incidents.
  • Documentation and reporting management:
    Keep records of deliveries, transport documents, trip logs, and other reports required for smooth fleet operations.
  • Coordination with related departments:
    Collaborate with maintenance teams, the finance department, and logistics management to ensure an efficient workflow.

  • Operations Management and Transportation Management skills
  • Strong Communication and Customer Service skills
  • Excellent Organization Skills
  • Experience in the automotive or logistics industry is a plus
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong English skills (spoken and written)
