Become Our Next Compliance Analyst (Player Protection Officer) at REI

We're looking for a dedicated Compliance Analyst (Player Protection Officer) to join our Player Protection Team.

In this role, you'll be at the forefront of Safer Gambling and Anti-Money Laundering / Counter-Terrorist Financing (AML/CTF) customer due diligence, ensuring our operations meet the highest standards of compliance. You'll conduct thorough reviews of both new and existing customers, safeguarding adherence to all relevant laws and regulations while supporting our commitment to responsible gaming.

Your Responsibilities:

Carry out AML/CTF and Safer Gambling due diligence checks on new and existing customers of
NetBet
in the UK market, ensuring our operations meet all legal and regulatory requirements.

Safer Gambling

• Monitor and review customers showing signs of potential gambling-related harm.
• Apply regulator guidance and our SG policies in decision-making.
• Reviewing financial documents to assess indicators of financial harm and affordability.
• Contact customers by phone or email when there are concerns.
• Stay updated on regulatory changes and revise internal documents as needed.

Anti-Money Laundering

• Manage daily AML tasks ensuring compliance with internal processes and procedures.
• Conduct thorough due diligence checks to identify suspicious activity, PEPs, adverse media, or sanctions matches, taking appropriate action when needed.
• Keep current with regulatory changes and update company documents accordingly.
• Create and submit internal reports on unusual or suspicious activity to the appropriate regulator or agency.
• Communicate with customers to request any required documentation or additional information.

What You'll Bring:

• Experience in a similar compliance, AML or safer gambling role, ideally within the online gaming industry.
• Confidence using Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and learning new systems.
• Excellent analytical skills with a high attention to detail when reviewing documents and customer activity.
• Excellent written and spoken English, with the ability to handle sensitive customer interactions professionally.
• A proactive approach to completing internal training and staying current with regulatory and industry developments.
