The Infrastructure & Applications (I&A) team at ORTEC ensures that the entire global infrastructure and application landscape works well and is fully up to date. You are a specialist who can provide solutions during outages and other problems. You are passionate about optimizing and automating our IT environment. As a senior in your role, you enjoy coaching your teammates to raise the overall level, you operate on design and implementation level. You are proactive and contribute to improvement proposals and advise on various topics. Naturally, you keep up with market developments so that you are the linchpin of the infrastructure team. The I&A team is part of the IT department with more than 30 enthusiastic colleagues.

What do you bring?
- A completed higher professional education or demonstrated knowledge level with a strong ICT component.
- Capable of designing and implementing MS Windows Server and Azure Cloud platform (IaaS/PaaS) environments.
- Capable of designing and implementing virtualization environments, such as MS Hyper-V in a hyper-converged cluster.
- Capable of designing and implementing network technologies such as Aruba, Fortinet, VPN, IPSEC, ZTNA, Cloud networking.
- Capable of designing and implementing Microsoft 365 products. (InTune, MFA, SSO, AutoPilot, Conditional Access, MAM, SQL, Office 365, CoPilot).
- Advanced management of Microsoft SQL Servers in HA environments.
- Knowledge of and experience with scripting and automation. You master PowerShell, know how to combine it with the Graph API. You are eager to further develop in automation with concepts such as Infrastructure as Code, Continuous integration and delivery, monitoring and logging.
- Knowledge of security standards and architectural principles and possibilities within ICT.
- Knowledge of concepts and principles of DevOps Boards, Agile, Project and Change management.
- Flexibility and a future-oriented mindset. You are not stuck in the past with a legacy mindset. Not allergic to changes.
- A no-nonsense attitude;
- Knowledge and experience of ISO 27001 and SOC 2 Type II is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
