Paradox Cat GmbH is a specialist software development partner in the area of real-time graphics from Munich, Germany. As a partner and supplier of various premium automotive manufacturers, we support graphical interface development for high-end in car cluster instruments and infotainment systems. In addition to this, PARADOX CAT GmbH has increasingly participated in Proof of Concept projects and feasibility studies in the Human Machine Interaction (HMI) spectrum. Here, we focus on the implementation of new emerging technologies and their usability and implementation in the car of the future.

You will:
  • Collaborate within a Scrum team, using GitHub for version control and task management in sprint cycles.
  • Craft highly interactive, pixel-perfect user interfaces using React and TypeScript, ensuring they are robust, performant, and maintainable.
  • Leverage your in-depth knowledge of React component lifecycles, DOM manipulation, and CSS Modules to build clean and modular front-end code.
  • Implement polished CSS transitions and animations to elevate the user experience and add visual finesse to interfaces.
  • (Nice-to-have) Integrate MQTT communication where real-time data flows are needed—for example, live updates or push notifications in UI components.
You have:
  • A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field—or equivalent practical experience.
  • Hands-on experience working with GitHub repositories and participating in Scrum-based workflows (e.g., sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, retros).
  • Deep understanding of the React lifecycle, including class and/or functional components, hooks, and performance optimizations.
  • Strong command of TypeScript, including its type system, interfaces, and generics.
  • Proficiency in DOM manipulation, structured CSS Modules, and organizing styles for component-based development.
  • High attention to detail with a dedication to achieving pixel-perfect UI implementations.
  • Demonstrated ability to create smooth and engaging CSS transitions and animations.
  • (Nice-to-have) Familiarity or prior experience with MQTT protocol, including setup or integration in front-end or full-stack systems.
