About job

As an Infrastructure Engineer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and improving the infrastructure that supports our business operations. Youll manage the installation and configuration of servers, network equipment, and storage systems, ensuring they run smoothly and efficiently. Youll also focus on monitoring and troubleshooting issues in real-time using advanced tools, while automating tasks to increase efficiency and minimize manual errors.

In addition to your daily responsibilities, youll also develop and implement disaster recovery and backup plans to safeguard against potential failures. Youll collaborate with a dynamic team, making recommendations for future hardware and software upgrades to meet the growing demands of the infrastructure.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain, update, and monitor infrastructure to ensure smooth and secure operations.
  • Utilize monitoring tools to quickly detect and resolve system issues.
  • Automate routine tasks using scripting and configuration management tools to boost efficiency and minimize human error.
  • Develop and implement disaster recovery and backup plans to ensure business continuity in case of hardware failures or data loss.
  • Predict future infrastructure needs and recommend hardware and software upgrades to keep systems optimized.
Requirements
  • Proven experience with Linux system administration in high-traffic, production environments.
  • Strong knowledge of web servers like Apache or Nginx, and databases such as MySQL.
  • Expertise in Shell Scripting using languages such as Bash, Perl, Python, PHP, Java, or JavaScript.
  • Proficiency in network configurations and troubleshooting, including iptables firewalls, BGP, and OSPF protocols.
  • Hands-on experience with automation tools like Ansible, high-availability systems, and backup processes.
