Location: 100% Remote
Industry: Direct-to-Consumer | Natural Health | eCommerce
Happy Mammoth is a fast-growing natural food tech business selling across the United States, Australia, and Europe. We specialize in formulating, producing, and marketing natural supplements that support gut health, hormone balance, and overall well-being. Our mission is to help people achieve long-lasting positive health changes so they can start living very full lives again.
We are looking for a highly organized, creatively driven Project Manager with experience in packaging development, artwork coordination, naming processes, and market research. This role sits within our Branding team and works cross-functionally with Product Development, Quality & Regulatory, Supply Chain, and Marketing.
You will own and manage the full packaging development lifecycle, lead the naming process for new products, and ensure all creative brand assets are delivered with accuracy, compliance, and strategic impact.
1. Packaging, Labeling & Copy Development (Artwork Management)
- Develop draft packaging concepts, label frameworks, and collaborate on written copy for packaging materials.
- Coordinate closely with Quality & Regulatory teams to ensure all packaging components meet regional compliance, formatting, and claims requirements (QA/PD to provide regulatory content and claims).
- Manage revision workflows, version control, and stakeholder feedback loops for all artwork and label assets.
- Work directly with a copywriter to develop marketing-friendly claims and customer-facing language.
- Demonstrate understanding of packaging materials, Pantone/CMYK color systems, printers' technical requirements, and artwork formatting best practices.
- Own the end-to-end product naming process, from initial brainstorming and shortlisting through cross-functional evaluation.
- Collaborate with the copywriter on name creation and claims rewriting.
- Submit proposed names for legal review, manage feedback cycles, track trademark results, and document final approvals.
- Ensure cross-team alignment on the chosen name and maintain a structured naming archive.
- Conduct market scans and category benchmarking to identify packaging trends, structural innovations, and competitive naming patterns.
- Collect and synthesize market insights to support concept development, naming rationale, and packaging creative direction.
- Work closely with Branding, Product Development, Marketing, Supply Chain, and QA/Regulatory to ensure accurate and timely delivery of packaging and creative assets.
- Partner with manufacturers, suppliers, and print houses to source and validate packaging solutions, materials, and specifications.
- Facilitate quotation processes with packaging vendors and coordinate technical requirements.
- Build clear and compelling internal decks for approvals, presentations, and launch materials related to naming and artwork concepts.
- Experience in packaging project management, artwork coordination, branding, or product development.
- Strong understanding of packaging materials, color systems (Pantone, CMYK), printing processes, and artwork production.
- Proven ability to manage copy development, creative workflows, and cross-functional approval cycles.
- Familiarity with regulatory considerations for packaging (supplements, wellness, FMCG, or similar industries preferred).
- Excellent project management skills: highly organized, structured, and detail-oriented.
- Strong written communication skills and ability to coordinate with copywriters and creative teams.
- Ability to translate market research into actionable creative direction and packaging concepts.
- Comfortable working with suppliers, manufacturers, and external creative resources.
- Fully remote role in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
- Opportunity to influence packaging, naming, and creative direction for products used by customers worldwide.
- Participation in shaping innovative wellness products across multiple global markets.
- Growth opportunities within a dynamic, product-focused organization.
