Roles and Responsibilities:
- Analyze signals of data leakage and perform response actions where necessary
- Coordinate large scale incident response with business units across the organization where necessary
- Transform data into insights, to identify and quantify opportunities to reduce instances of data leakage
- Develop and provide reporting to management that highlights trends in data leakage across teams, business units, and the associated risks
- Support the Data Security product teams in the development of new tools and detection techniques for use in data leakages detection/prevention
- Provide training and support to relevant stakeholders
- Raise awareness across the business regarding sensitive data leakage and the responsibilities of all employees to report instances of data leakage
- Contribute or lead other projects which reduce data leakage while maintaining focus on a positive customer and employee experience
Skills /Competencies
- Experience in an operational role in Security/Fraud
- Understanding of concepts around privacy and risk management
- Experience responding to incidents from start to finish is a must
- Ability to create, modify and execute SQL and Hadoop database queries to retrieve and analyze large data sets
- Excellent stakeholder management experience
- Highly motivated and results-focused individual with solid business understanding
- Self-starter, able to work independently, enjoys creating and implementing new initiatives
- Ability to prioritize incoming escalations and requests appropriately using established impact frameworks
- Capacity to adapt to our fast-paced environment while instantly providing effective output
- Great communication, questioning, and problem-solving skills
- Hands-on mentality
- Fluent in English, writing, and speaking.
PreferredDesirable: CISSP or Security+ or any other cyber security certification, but not mandatory.
Educational Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Equivalent.
