Business Analyst

Who we are

We are seeking a highly skilled Expert Business Analyst with deep expertise in accounting and financial data management to join our SimpliFi Data Pool team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions, ensuring that our data pool aligns with strategic objectives and delivers value to stakeholders.

What you'll be doing

• Define and document business requirements related to accounting and financial data management, ensuring alignment with group-wide target architecture.
• Analyze requirements to recommend solutions to complex problems, harmonizing processes.
• Work closely with data engineers, Power BI developers, and other technical teams to ensure solutions meet business requirements and are effectively implemented.
• Maintain and update documentation related to business analysis processes and project deliverables.
• Coordinate with various stakeholders in development, architecture, rollout, and operations teams, as well as with customers, for releases, upgrades, and changes.
• Support testing and training activities, ensuring user acceptance and quality standards are met.
• Document, maintain, and optimize processes and configurations related to the environments, applying analytical thinking and methodological skills.

What you'll bring along

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, with a focus on accounting and financial data management.
• In-depth knowledge of accounting processes, financial data management, and regulatory requirements, with experience in the insurance industry advantageous
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex business needs.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
• Proven experience in translating business requirements into technical specifications.
• Familiarity with BI tools and data visualization concepts is a plus.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and tools such as JIRA is desirable.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent command of both spoken and written English.
