Azure Cloud Engineer

Seeking a skilled Azure Cloud Engineer to join our team.

Job Description:

We're looking for a technical professional with expertise in designing and implementing scalable, secure, and highly available cloud solutions. As an Azure Cloud Engineer, you will be responsible for managing and monitoring cloud infrastructures, automating deployments, and ensuring data protection and compliance. You will work closely with development teams to integrate cloud services and develop documentation to facilitate legacy system migrations.

This role involves working on various projects, including designing exit strategies, conducting disaster recovery planning, and optimizing resource utilization. You will also be responsible for providing technical support, collaborating with cross-functional partners, and participating in a 24/7 on-call rotation for technical escalations.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you should have the following skills and qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience working with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform for Azure Cloud;
  • Microsoft Azure experience involving design, deployment, configuration, and optimization of cloud platforms;
  • Experience with IaaS and PaaS solutions;
  • Experience in the design, migration, and operation of medium to large-scale enterprise infrastructure, databases, and application systems;
  • Experience working within an Agile framework;
  • Experience in IaC development with Terraform, Azure CLI, Puppet, and Ansible;
  • Proficient with GIT to perform source code management;
  • Experience with Terraform Cloud and Azure DevOps;
  • Experience with Jira and ServiceNow;
  • Competence in a wide range of IT skills including networking, systems administration, data protection, information security, and CI/CD tooling;
  • Experience with AWS, GCP, or other cloud providers is an advantage.
