Android Engineer Position

We are eager to meet engineers who can realize innovative, robust and creative solutions to complicated development challenges in an end-to-end product development environment. As part of our team, your role would be to develop Android applications using the Android SDK and Kotlin following best practices and utilizing standard development tools. We are currently looking for engineers to join us on a project focused on outdoor and tactical devices.

This position will require collaboration with our team members to create and execute designs for software components within a larger project. You will also be responsible for mentoring and providing guidance to less experienced Software Engineers, as well as collaborating and adding value through participation in peer code reviews.

Responsibilities:

  • Create and execute software component designs within a larger project.
  • Mentor and provide guidance to less experienced Software Engineers.
  • Collaborate and add value through participation in peer code reviews.
  • Estimate the level of effort, evaluate new options of similar technology and offer suggestions to improve processes.
  • Perform technical root cause analysis and outline corrective action for given problems.

Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of Kotlin and Android SDK.
  • Experience with Jetpack Compose.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or similar.
  • 5 years of experience with Android development.
  • Proficiency in English.
