Senior Architectural Project Leader

We are seeking an accomplished Architecture Specialist to join our team in Bucharest. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading architectural projects and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in architecture, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment.

• Collaborate closely with local and international teams on project delivery.

• Provide leadership and guidance to the architectural team.

• Mentor and coach junior architects and other team members.

• Collaborate with other departments and teams within the organization.

• Prepare detailed design plans, layouts, elevations, cross-sections, and other associated documents.

• Lead the design and development of complex architectural solutions.

• Evaluate and select appropriate technologies and tools for the project.

• Collaborate with project managers to ensure successful project delivery.

• Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables from an architectural perspective.

• Monitor and manage architectural aspects of project timelines and budgets.

• Establish and enforce architectural standards and best practices.

• Conduct architectural reviews to ensure compliance with standards and guidelines.

• Address complex technical challenges and provide innovative solutions.

• Drive continuous improvement in architectural processes.

• Prepare documentation to support planning application and maintain up-to-date portfolio of building types in CAD forms including approved variations.

• Cooperate with quantity surveyors, engineers, and other design professionals.

• Ensure compliance of all architectural guidelines and standards.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a team environment.

• Proven experience in leading project teams or architectural departments.

• Good spoken and written English skills are essential.

• Possess an in-depth understanding of relevant technologies, frameworks, and tools.

• Take responsibility for architectural decisions and their impact on projects.

• Understand and apply various architectural patterns and design principles.

• Ability to lead and manage a team of architects and other technical professionals.

• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members.

• Experience in BIM/REVIT projects.

• Passion for detailing and solving problems.

• Effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Advanced design tools such as Grasshopper/Dynamo/Scripting would be highly appreciated.

• Ability to work under own initiative with established timeframes and a high degree of accuracy.

• Willingness and drive to work collaboratively and integrate in a dynamic team focused on developing together and meeting expectations of our International Clients.

• A degree in Architecture recognized in Romania is required.
