We are seeking a seasoned Construction Leader to spearhead our high-profile construction initiatives. This is an exceptional opportunity for an accomplished professional with a track record of driving complex projects from conception to delivery.

The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the construction lifecycle, including planning, execution, and monitoring. They will be responsible for ensuring seamless collaboration among stakeholders, vendors, and internal teams to meet project objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective construction strategies aligned with business goals
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate project risks
  • Oversee the development and execution of comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards
  • Lead communication efforts to keep stakeholders informed of project progress and updates

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 15 years of experience in managing large-scale construction projects, preferably in the nuclear sector
  • At least 8 years of experience with CANDU Nuclear Power Plants or equivalent projects
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, business management, or a related field
  • Prior experience or training in Canadian-run CANDU refurbishments is highly desirable
  • Proven track record of delivering large-scale projects worth at least $100 million
