About the Opportunity:

We are seeking a skilled professional to oversee procurement processes and ensure timely acquisition of goods and services. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in maintaining contract databases, providing information on organization policies, and conducting market research.

Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and assist with creation and maintenance of contract databases.
  • Act as an information source on organization policies and procedures pertaining to procurement.
  • Conduct market research on available solutions and identify those that best meet our needs within the industry.
  • Develop strong relationships with key suppliers and measure their performance based on cost, quality, delivery, and service level.
  • Ensure compliance with organization policies, procedures, planning, and billing systems.
  • Handle initial contract review and analyze contracts to ensure compliance with company policy, procedures, and systems.
  • Organize competitive bidding procedures according to the rules of financial regulations and relevant internal procedures.
  • Perform due-diligence specific crosschecks and ensure proper analysis and evaluation of supplier performance.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant field.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized.
  • Excellent planning and time management/prioritization skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information.
  • In-depth knowledge of procurement regulations and contract documents.
  • Outstanding negotiation and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to resolve client complaints and concerns.
  • Analytical competence and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Result-oriented skills.
  • Research and analytical skills.
  • Problem-solving via innovation & creativity.
  • Knowledge of MS Office package.

Languages: Romanian and English.
