About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Software Engineer to join our team. As a key member, you will be responsible for designing and developing high-quality software applications using Java technologies.

Job Description:

This is an exciting opportunity to work on our DataScope suite of applications, which provides financial data analysis tools to clients worldwide. Your primary focus will be on collaborating with cross-functional teams to define requirements, design features, and implement solutions.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Designing and developing high-quality software applications using Java technologies.
  • Collaborating with multi-functional teams to define requirements, design features, and implement solutions.
  • Writing clean, efficient, and well-documented code following standard methodologies.
  • Conducting code reviews and providing constructive feedback to other team members.
  • Ensuring scalability, performance, and security of applications.
  • Troubleshooting and debugging issues and proposing solutions to complex problems.
  • Mentoring and coaching junior developers, sharing knowledge and standard methodologies.
  • Staying updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field.
  • 4+ years of professional experience in Java development.
  • Strong proficiency in Java, with a deep understanding of Java core concepts (multithreading, collections, IO, etc.).
  • Solid understanding of SQL and relational database systems.
  • Experience with Spring/Spring Boot frameworks and Maven.
  • Familiarity with AWS cloud platform and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Experience in Agile development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think critically.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with team members and collaborators.
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality software solutions on time.
