Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced VMware expert to support a consolidation and optimization project for the virtual infrastructure. The selected professional will assist in analyzing the current environment, contributing to the preparation of documentation, and executing the plan to reduce complexity and operating costs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze the current VMware environment and identify opportunities for consolidation and reduction
  • Support the documentation and preparation of a request for proposal (RFP) process
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to define scope, technical requirements, and cost-saving targets
  • Assist in vendor evaluation and selection in line with project goals and compliance standards
  • Provide recommendations on modernizing or phasing out underutilized infrastructure

Required Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience in VMware infrastructure analysis and consolidation
  • Previous involvement in RFP processes
  • Strong understanding of virtualization, infrastructure cost modeling, and optimization strategies
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Familiarity with enterprise IT procurement processes
