The role involves leading teams in designing, developing, and maintaining risk monitoring frameworks, models, and key controls. The job requires collaboration with stakeholders across business and technology groups to deliver as per the specifications.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain risk monitoring frameworks, models, and key controls.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver projects according to specifications.
  • Coordinate the development of technical documentation.
  • Manage teams and ensure timely delivery of projects.
  • Evaluate and improve existing solutions and systems.
  • Integrate new solutions and systems to streamline workflow and company processes.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree or equivalent experience in data science/computer science and/or software delivery for financial institutions.
  • At least 7 years of professional experience demonstrated by key references and/or named projects.
  • At least 4 years of professional experience managing mid-to-large size data science teams.
  • Deep understanding of data science and risk monitoring domains.
  • Knowledge of methods and tooling for data scientists, including AI/ML tools.
  • Experience working with big data, risk modeling, and tools.
  • Experience in a heterogeneous IT environment involving multiple applications and technologies.

  • Self-motivated with ability to work in virtual teams and matrix/global organizations.
  • Well-developed analytical and problem-solving experience.
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Highly organized with ability to commit and prioritize work duties and tasks.
  • Excellent communications and documentation/presentation skills.
  • Fluent in English (written/verbal).
