We are currently looking for a competent full-time, on-site Network Administrator (m/f/d) to join our service team in Dresden.
In this role, you will be part of our dedicated service team.
Your tasks Develop, implement and support network solutions, primarily with HP / Aruba technology Support and implementation of monitoring and security solutions such as firewalls and intrusion detection Collaborate with the team on various network-related tasks to ensure optimal performance and reliability Managing and maintaining network hardware, software and infrastructure components Troubleshooting network problems and implementing effective solutions in a timely manner Ensuring network security and compliance with established policies and procedures Monitoring network performance and implementing improvements as required Making suggestions for improvements to processes and procedures Working closely with scientists (m/f/d) to develop systems and structures to meet their research needs Requirements A university degree or equivalent in an IT-related or scientific field - or a good explanation of why your chosen career path gives you equivalent skills.
Proven experience with HP/Aruba technology Basic knowledge of Linux system administration as this position involves working closely with the System Administrators (m/f/d) At least 3 years of experience in network and/or IT security Ability to work on site Must be fluent in English and German and have excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to work in a team Advantages Contract: Scionics offers favorable contract terms and a salary based on employee experience - with regular performance evaluations and corresponding salary increases.
