Energy Data Analyst - Region Europe East (REE) (m/f/d) Any major Region Europe East location | req22114 What you will enjoy doing You will bridging production and energy management across Linde’s regional sites, build metrics, set up dashboards to ensure continuous tracking of energy management performance Also, you will autonomously executing dynamic data analysis on regional energy market developments including general price movements of related commodities (power, gas, EUAs) in the different countries Reforming the way we collect, analyse and report energy related data is required in this role Under your responsibility will be also analyzing the adaptation of renewable energy incentives in Linde’s regional energy portfolio And driving and supporting digitalization projects for the Energy Management team What makes you great You own a Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Energy Management, Engineering, Economics, or a other related field and you have gained 3-5 years of experience in carrying out data analytics, data mining and using of complex database structures preferably related to commodities but this latter is not a precondition You are confident in using data analysis tools, you are an advanced user of SQL and VBA, desirably have worked with an API before and you are constantly improving your toolbox, even further to programming languages (e.g.


Python, R, MATLAB or similar) You have experience with efficient data visualization via Power BI, Tableau or similar tools You have an analytical mindset, familiar with statistical concepts Also, you have a proactive mindset, a continuous learning and improvement attitude, clear and effective communication skills, with the ability to convey complex issues and models to diverse audiences, you are creative and eager to make an impact English communication skills, both written and verbal are a must Why you will love working with us Linde has just started its long, exciting journey to better understand and adapt to the new, challenging, and volatile energy market environment that is happening right in front of us and on different scales in the various countries of the region.
