Application support specialist

We are looking for an Application support specialist to join our young and professional team of Support Team experts based in Bucharest.
Synevo Laboratories are part of the Medicover family, providing a complete range of diagnostic laboratory services to both members and other providers.
SYNEVO offers services in Poland, Romania, Ukraine, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova, Bulgaria, Turkey and Serbia and under the brand name of IMD in Germany.
Job responsibilities:
Work collaboratively with software developing team to develop and operate internal middleware and third party middleware applications;
Troubleshoots and resolve issues in pre-production and production environments;
Manage the connections with the analyzers – both physical and configurations of middleware applications interfaces;
Analyze and recommend middleware application configuration that best matches business rules;
Suggest solutions and work on them to improve the existing applications and services;
Manage automatic deployments in both pre-production and production environments;
Verifies overall quality of the releases by conducting validation tests;
Participate to the implementation projects in both new and existing labs with other teams support.
Candidate profile:
Understanding of software architecture and design;
Good problem-solving and analytical skills;
Relevant university degree in IT or in related domain;
Good level in English language – both spoken and written;
Ability to work both independently and as a team member;
Flexible attitude, ability to perform under pressure and complying with strict deadlines;
Pro-active behaviour, good organization and time management skills;
Ability to prioritize work and perform multiple tasks simultaneously;
Technical skills:
Networking:
firewall – inbound and outbound rules, TCP connection – server, client, UTP cables wiring and connectors
RS232 communication:
pins signals, cables length limitations
Application architecture:
Frontend, backend, DB
Client-server
Knowledge of IIS and Web applications
Minimal SQL server knowledge
Programming language – basic scripting like select and update with simple conditions
DB structure, relational data model – tables, primary and foreign keys.
