Technical Architect for S/4HANA Development Team

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Architect to join our S/4HANA Development team, supporting customers across EMEA in their journey to S/4HANA, solving complex business challenges with cutting-edge technologies.

About the Role

  • Technical Architect and Technical Lead roles in large and complex projects
  • Development for S/4HANA Greenfield implementation according to Clean Core principles
  • Integration based on Cloud Integration Suite
  • Custom Code Management for S/4HANA Conversion
  • Custom Code adjustment for HANA Migration
  • Take responsibility as team lead and support respective line manager(s) in people development tasks
  • Take a technical lead position in the project and perform technical activities including coding;
  • Design integration scenarios for on-premise solutions, cloud solutions, hybrid scenarios
  • Effort estimations
  • Support for solution proposals and bid management
  • Support pre-sales activities;
  • Deliver customer workshops and trainings
  • Act as a trusted adviser to the customer on technical matters;
  • Manage customer expectations and avoid any escalations;
  • Able to set up development guidelines and methodologies;
  • Work on projects executed across geographies and cultures
  • Ready to travel for assignments at customer location (short term and long term)

Requirements

  • 15+ years of experience in ABAP On Cloud, ABAP on HANA, Adobe Interactive Forms, ABAP Interfaces, CDS Views, Fiori, Cloud Integration, BTP overall know-how
  • University degree, preferably in engineering or economic science (bachelor in engineering / economic science, or master degree in computer applications, business administration, or science)
  • Experience in software development projects: evaluating functional specifications, preparation of technical specifications, coding reviews, unit testing, technical issues resolution
  • Exposure to project management or project management methodologies is a plus
  • Native Romanian, fluent in English, German: nice to have
