Test Manager

You will be part of a 70-strong QA team spread across 9 locations in 4 countries, which ensures high quality for our diverse projects and products. We are all united by the passion to make our software even better every day and to inspire our customers. Close collaboration within the agile development teams is just as much a part of our identity as the use of modern technologies in the field of test automation.
 

Tasks:

• Planning, control, and execution of test activities in different phases of the software life cycle
• Analyzing, designing, and documenting automated and manual test cases, taking functional and non-functional requirements into account
• Planning and optimization of CI/CD pipelines and test automation frameworks for various software products
• Working closely with our product management and developers as part of our agile and cross-functional software development process
• Ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of the assigned products through regular and systematic testing
• Technical management and coaching of project-related teams of test engineers.
• Application of industry-specific test methods and standards in various areas, e.g. energy industry, health, media, etc.

Profile:

• Completed studies (e.g. computer science, software engineering, business informatics) or comparable qualification in an IT-related field.
• Good comprehension skills and quality awareness as well as an interest in familiarizing yourself with complex and dynamic processes.
• At least 3 years of experience in test analysis and/or test management, plus experience with test automation
• Sound knowledge of testing web services (e.g. REST, SOAP, GraphQL) and databases (e.g. SQL, NoSQL, MongoDB)
• Experience with agile procedures (e.g. Scrum, Kanban, DevOps) and agile tools (e.g. Jira, Confluence, Git, Jenkins)
• Existing ISTQB certification(s) or willingness to acquire them.
