About the Role
Huawei is looking for both Junior and Mid-Level Back Office Software Engineers to join our Global Network Operations Center (GNOC). In this role, you will support critical applications and infrastructure systems, ensuring high service availability and operational excellence for global customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide 2nd line application and infrastructure support.
- Perform incident, change, and problem management activities.
- Monitor system health and perform proactive health checks.
- Troubleshoot application, database, and infrastructure issues.
- Implement system changes, upgrades, and new integrations.
- Analyze logs, system performance, and resource utilization.
- Support customers and participate in technical discussions.
- Collaborate with international engineering teams.
- Participate in on-call rotations and scheduled maintenance activities.
Technical Requirements
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of Linux administration.
- Understanding of networking fundamentals (IP, DNS, subnetting, routing).
- Experience with SQL and database queries.
- Familiarity with servers, storage, virtualization, or firewall technologies.
- Knowledge of system monitoring and troubleshooting methodologies.
- Basic scripting skills are considered an advantage.
Ideal Candidate
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Telecommunications, Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset.
- Willingness to learn and work with complex systems.
- Good communication skills and professional English proficiency.
- Ability to work in a dynamic, international environment.
