Reinsurance Specialist Bucharest | Full-time | Hybrid Are you ready to take your reinsurance expertise to the next level? We are looking for a talented Reinsurance Specialist to join a leading company in the insurance industry and play a key role in managing reinsurance programs, analyzing risk exposures, and driving process improvement initiatives. As a key contributor, you will:
- Manage automatic and facultative reinsurance programs, ensuring compliance with contractual, regulatory, and internal requirements.
- Analyze risk exposures and accumulations, supporting informed underwriting and portfolio management decisions.
- Collaborate with reinsurers, brokers, and internal stakeholders to ensure an efficient flow of information and seamless execution of reinsurance activities.
- Prepare and validate internal and external reinsurance reports while ensuring data quality and reconciliation accuracy.
- Support internal and external audit activities, coordinating documentation and monitoring the implementation of recommendations.
- Contribute to process optimization, digitalization, and automation projects aimed at enhancing operational efficiency.
- Develop analytical tools and reporting capabilities while supporting knowledge transfer and onboarding initiatives within the team. We Are Looking For:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in reinsurance.
- Solid understanding of reinsurance principles, structures, and market practices.
- Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail when working with data, reporting, and risk exposures.
- Experience in reporting, reconciliation processes, and collaboration with reinsurers, brokers, and cross-functional teams.
- Good knowledge of insurance regulations and ASF requirements, particularly within the motor insurance sector.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field.
- Intermediate English proficiency.
- Good command of Microsoft Office, especially Excel. Why This Role Matters?
