ManpowerGroup Romania is looking for a Finance Executive for one of its clients, an international organization with global operations.

Bucharest Position overview: The ideal candidate will possess a solid knowledge of Romanian financial reporting standards, tax legislation, statutory compliance obligations, and audit processes. Experience gained within a Big Four accounting firm or involvement in supporting statutory audit engagements will be considered a significant advantage. Key

requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field. Professional accounting qualification (ACCA, CPA, CECCAR, or equivalent) is preferred. 3–6 years of experience in accounting, financial reporting, audit, or tax functions. Strong knowledge of Romanian accounting standards, fiscal regulations, and statutory compliance requirements. Experience supporting statutory audits and financial statement preparation. Prior experience with a Big 4 accounting firm or audit advisory environment is highly preferred. Experience supporting new entity setup, finance transformation, or shared service/GCC environments is an advantage. Strong understanding of Romanian GAAP and statutory reporting requirements, VAT, corporate tax and local fiscal regulations, financial controls and compliance frameworks, as well as external audit processes. Knowledge of SAP, Oracle, or other ERP systems is desirable. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. Fluent in Romanian and English, both written and spoken.

Key responsibilities
Support the Finance Business Partner in establishing finance processes, controls, and governance frameworks for the Romania GCC. Assist with the implementation of local accounting and reporting processes aligned with both Romanian statutory requirements and group policies. Maintain accurate accounting records in accordance with Romanian Accounting Standards and company policies. Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes. Prepare journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and supporting schedules. Assist with statutory financial statement preparation and filing requirements. Monitor compliance with local accounting and reporting obligations. Support direct and indirect tax compliance activities, including VAT and corporate tax requirements. Ensure timely submission of statutory declarations and regulatory filings. Support external statutory audits and provide supporting documentation. Support implementation of robust financial controls and compliance processes. Assist in responding to auditor requests and addressing audit findings. Contribute to risk assessment and control improvement initiatives. Support financial analysis and ad hoc projects relating to the GCC setup.
