What are extending again our legal team and looking for: – Law degree and a minimum of 5 years’ experience as an in-house legal counsel (consilier juridic); – Relevant experience in real estate; – Excellent legal drafting skills in both Romanian and English (minimum C1 level in English); – Communication and negotiation skills; – Ability to work in a dynamic environment and meet strict deadlines; – Good knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel). Your responsibilities may include, among others – Working closely with the sales, leasing and marketing teams, as well as other teams within the group’s residential business; – Drafting the documents necessary to represent the company’s interests before courts, public authorities, bailiffs and notaries public (statements of claim, statements of defence, appeals and other procedural requests), and representing the company before courts and public authorities, in coordination with external counsel; – Providing legal advice on property rights, land registration (Carte Funciară), cadastral matters, employment and civil law, etc.; – Maintaining the relationship with public institutions and authorities (Trade Register, Cadastre and Land Registry Office (OCPI), courts, notaries public, bailiffs, etc.); – Providing legal support on corporate matters, such as drafting bilingual (Romanian/English) General Meeting of Shareholders (GMS) resolutions, directors’ resolutions and amendments to the articles of association; – Providing legal support, assistance and advice to all departments within the group.
