What We Do Our Banking & Finance practice originated from Linklaters Romania in 2007 and has long advised industrial groups and entrepreneurs on transactions from term sheet to closing. We primarily act for borrowers, sponsors, and shareholders across refinancing, investment financing, working capital and acquisition financing, restructuring and preventive restructuring proceedings, capital raising, and exits. Our legal expertise is integrated with transactional advisory, delivered by a dedicated, committed team under the direct leadership of our partners. Every lawyer is involved in the entire transaction, rather than just one part of it, and works directly alongside clients and lenders or investors from day one. Who We Are Looking For Fully qualified lawyers, from Associate to Managing Associate level, with at least two years of experience in Banking & Finance, excellent command of English, and a solid understanding of civil and commercial law. Beyond the CV, we value curiosity to explore solutions that cannot be found in textbooks, the courage to take ownership of your advice, and a genuine appetite for working on exceptionally challenging mandates. A Candid Word Most candidates come from a professional background advising lenders and need time to appreciate that the work here is fundamentally different. It requires endurance and, more often than not, the ability to deliver in the 99th minute of the game. Those who stay are the ones who find this perspective exciting rather than unsettling.
