Key Responsibilities
• Architect, design, implement, and maintain highly scalable, secure, and resilient cloud infrastructure across enterprise environments.
• Drive Infrastructure as Code (IaC) best practices, leveraging Terraform extensively for resource provisioning, configuration management, and infrastructure automation.
• Develop, optimize, and standardize CI/CD pipelines, ensuring efficient, reliable, and secure software delivery processes.
• Collaborate closely with development, architecture, and operations teams to embed DevOps practices and improve application performance, reliability, and scalability.
• Automate operational processes and infrastructure management tasks to increase efficiency and reduce manual intervention.
• Develop and maintain automation tools, scripts, and deployment frameworks to support cloud-native environments.
• Implement and enforce security best practices, including identity and access management, secrets management, compliance controls, and infrastructure security.
• Monitor and optimize platform performance, availability, cost efficiency, and operational excellence.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to team members, promoting knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
• Participate in production support activities and on-call rotations when required. Skills & Experience
• Strong hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code tools, particularly Terraform (mandatory).
• Proven experience with at least one major cloud platform: AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Experience across multiple cloud providers is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of cloud architecture, networking, security, identity management, and platform services.
• Proven experience designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or similar platforms.
• Hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration technologies, including Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience developing and maintaining Helm Charts and Kubernetes deployment patterns.
• Strong scripting and automation skills using one or more languages such as Python, Go, Bash, JavaScript, or similar.
• Experience with monitoring, logging, and observability platforms such as Prometheus, Grafana, New Relic, Datadog, Cloud Monitoring, Azure Monitor, or equivalent.
• Experience implementing secrets management and security best practices using enterprise-grade tooling and cloud-native services.
• Good understanding of Agile software delivery methodologies and DevOps operating models.
• Experience with service mesh technologies such as Istio or equivalent solutions is a plus.
• Experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible, Chef, or Puppet is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Nice-to-have (optional)
• Cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Experience working in multi-cloud or hybrid-cloud environments.
• Exposure to platform engineering and Internal Developer Platforms (IDP).
