As a member of the Data Management & Insights team, you will play a key role in transforming and analyzing data from multiple sources, developing impactful reports and dashboards, and ensuring data integrity and quality. You will collaborate closely with Data Engineering, Data Administration, and other teams to support processes for effective data analysis, and reporting using technologies such as Microsoft SQL, Power BI, Python, and REST APIs. If this sounds like a great opportunity for your professional growth, join us at Emerson In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be: Collaborate with the business to understand data & reporting requirements through meetings and discussionsDevelop and maintain PowerBI/SSRS reports and dashboardsDevelop SQL queries and stored procedures to extract and load data into MS SQL databaseDevelop Python code to automate data import from REST API and other servicesWork with the business to test, trial, model, and implement relevant emerging data-related technologies that help drive business improvement and growthSupport the automation of manual data processingProvide the access security roles and assignmentsMaintain and administer existing applications (SQL Monitor; backend: Microsoft SQL)Perform data quality reviews and manage required corrective actions to solve the data quality issuesOffer support and operational activities through the internal Ticketing platformSupport and optimize existing data interfaces between different tools and ensure the execution of the procedures Who You Are: You are detail-oriented, analytical, and passionate about data. You thrive in collaborative environments and enjoy solving complex problems. You anticipate user needs and deliver solutions that drive business growth. For This Role, You Will Need: Bachelor's degree in IT, Data Analytics, Business Administration, or related field2+ years of experience developing and designing reports and dashboards in tools like Power BI, SSRS, or Tableau3+ years of experience writing SQL queries and designing data structures (certifications are a plus)Strong understanding of ETL concepts and data warehousingExperience in data analytics (master data, metadata, data modeling)Good knowledge of Python (advanced level is an advantage)Experience writing automation scripts (Python, Bash, PowerShell)Knowledge of REST APIs is a plusProficiency in English (oral, written, and interpersonal skills)Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skillsTeam player with attention to detail and results-oriented mindset Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart: Certifications in SQL or data visualization toolsAdvanced Python skills Our Culture & Commitment to You At Emerson, we prioritize a workplace where every employee is valued, respected, and empowered to grow.
