Then what?

We are looking for an
Enterprise Architect
to join our banking client's digital transformation within an agile environment. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deliver innovative, scalable solutions that balance modernization initiatives with legacy systems.

This position requires on-site presence 2 days per week (Bucharest office).

It also requires occasional travel.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with agile teams to design and deliver enterprise solutions aligned with business and stakeholder needs.
  • Define and maintain the architecture strategy, vision, and roadmap in line with business priorities.
  • Build and maintain architecture frameworks (guidelines, standards, principles) consistent with Group architecture policies.
  • Design and document architectures and frameworks, covering data structures, systems requirements, and solution design throughout the full life cycle.
  • Perform impact analyses and evaluate projects for compliance with the architecture strategy and standards.
  • Create and maintain Archimate models to support architecture documentation and governance.
  • Promote architecture best practices, ensuring knowledge sharing within architecture and expert communities.
  • Contribute to strategic studies, IS-level topics, and technology watch activities to identify innovative opportunities.
  • Provide technical guidance across platforms, including mobile apps, web solutions, cloud, and mainframe-based systems.
  • Facilitate collaboration between business, management, IT, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment on key initiatives.

Requirements:

  • 4–5 years of experience as an
    Enterprise/Solution Architect
    in a large, complex organization with high transaction volumes.
  • Minimum
    5 years of multidisciplinary IT experience
    (development, analysis, etc.).
  • Strong knowledge of
    cloud platforms
    (IBM Cloud or others).
  • Proven ability to design and maintain enterprise architectures, frameworks, and documentation.
  • Experience with
    Archimate
    ,
    Camunda
    , and enterprise integration patterns.
  • Familiarity with
    GDPR
    ,
    private loans/leasing
    ,
    card payments
    ,
    integration of payment systems, CRM
    , and
    accounting systems
    .
  • Exposure to
    mainframe environments
    and integration of payment systems.
  • Broad business knowledge and ability to align IT strategy with business value creation.
  • Experience with emerging technologies such as
    machine learning
    ,
    deep learning
    ,
    NLP
    ,
    data mining
    , and
    text mining
    is a plus.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Certification:
    TOGAF
    (mandatory).
  • Willingness to work in a large organization with complex structures and processes.
