Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Lawyer at Gherdan & Asociații SCA in the Cluj-Napoca office. The Senior Lawyer is responsible for providing legal advice, drafting and negotiating contracts, representing clients in legal proceedings, managing legal risks, and overseeing legal transactions.

Areas of law:
Sports, Litigation, Arbitration, Commercial Law, Competition Law, Public Procurement, Intelectual Property Law, Administrative Law;

The ideal candidate will have experience in sports law and arbitration, a good understanding of Civil and Commercial Law, an excellent understanding of Civil Procedure Law and shall be fluent in English language, both written and verbal.

Qualifications:

• Member of the Romanian Bar Association with 2-6 years of relevant experience after the bar exam;
• Experience in drafting and negotiating legal agreements, including commercial agreements and employment contracts;
• Experience in international and local sports law and arbitration;
• Good understanding of Romanian Civil and Comercial Law;
• An excellent understanding of Romanian Civil Procedure Law
• Good knowledge of Romanian and EU Sports Law;
• Ability to work independently and as a team player;
• Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
• Fluent in English language,
  both written and verbal.
