About Flutter UKI

Flutter UK & Ireland are the UKI region of Flutter Entertainment. They unite a dozen brands including powerhouses Paddy Power, Betfair, Tombola and Sky Betting & Gaming, bringing together hundreds of teams and thousands of colleagues, who create trusted entertainment for millions of customers every week.

Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities:

• Lead, build and maintain the core Android applications

• Working alongside our current native development team

• Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning and estimation

• Working alongside our design team

• Working with our data development team

• Self-motivated and able to achieve deadlines and work independently

• You love to write clean, reusable code and have a passion for mobile development inside and outside of the office

• Solid communication skills and team-working capability

• Positive and logical approach with a willingness to learn

• Attention to detail and a passion for quality

• Desire to create the best apps

Skills, Capabilities & Experience Required:

• Product-focused Android application development experience

• Experience with MVVM, Coroutines, LiveData

• Experience with Room, Retrofit, Restful APIs

• Clear architecture and Jetpack Components

• Strong testing skills

• An impressive portfolio of consumer-facing high-performance Android applications available in the Marketplace

• Advanced Kotlin, Android SDK, Java skills

• Strong knowledge of Android API capabilities at different levels, framework components, and lifecycles

• Good understanding of design patterns & Object-Oriented Programming

• Enthusiastic about teamwork in an Agile/Scrum environment

• Sound computer science foundations: algorithms, data structures, concurrency, threading, and programming languages
