About the Role:

We are looking for a
Programmable Hardware Developer
with strong scripting and automation experience to support our
FPGA toolchain and build infrastructure
.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, maintain, and optimize
    Perl and Python scripts
    (approx. 40k lines of code).
  • Provide
    3rd line support
    for build and infrastructure issues related to programmable hardware tools and applications.
  • Support and improve the
    build process
    for FPGA environments (Intel/Altera, Xilinx, Quartus).
  • Maintain and troubleshoot
    20–30 internal applications
    across Linux and Windows environments.
  • Collaborate with infrastructure teams to support
    servers, DevOps pipelines
    , and system reliability.
  • Work with business and engineering stakeholders to define improvements and implement solutions.
  • Participate in PI Planning sessions and regular team syncs (quarterly onsite).

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Minimum
    3–4 years of experience in software development
    using
    Perl and Python
    .
  • Strong understanding of
    Linux and Windows environments
    .
  • Proven experience maintaining and debugging large codebases (40k+ LOC).
  • Hands-on experience with
    build automation
    and
    infrastructure support
    .
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams.
  • Fluent in
    English
    (both written and spoken).

Occasional travel
to Eindhoven, NL — 4 days onboarding + 2 days every 3 months for PI Planning
