Role: Tech Lead Software Developer

The DATX platform will replace the TCIS tool. The TCIS platform provided an internal tool for Thales that allowed monitoring of chemical products used by Thales sites. This solution, called Hygie, is also set to be replaced in the new context of the DATX platform. DATX therefore aims to develop a tool that will replace Hygie and be connected to the DATX platform.

This tool, named Epsilon, will be the first in a series of business tools aimed at HSE Site officers at Thales, as well as for external clients who will be on the DATX platform. The DATX team is looking for a Tech Lead who will be responsible for technically guiding a squad in successfully accomplishing its development mission. This mission involves participating in development as well as ensuring a technical leadership role by validating technical directions, product developments, deploying implemented features.

Mission summary:

• The mission's goal for the tech lead is:
• Participate in the development of the Epsilon module
• Ensure the tracking of deliverables according to the development schedule
• Provide technical guidance to the development squad Deliveries will be made in line with the strategies and needs defined by the Tribe Tech lead, the Tech Lead, and the Product Owner (PO) of the Epsilon module

Responsibilities:

• Understand the functional aspects of the delivery by constructively discussing with the Product Owner
• Develop, build, test, deploy and run in production
• Set and apply best practices (both development and operational best practices), code quality, security standard and corresponding KPIs
• Actively contribute to the technical solution definition and improvements.
  • Help the team to focus on cross/nonfunctional requirements
• Validate the technical orientations/choices and developments made by developers and participate to code review
• Ensure alignment of developments with the technical repository (Document base – Miro Architecture plan)
• Integrate into the team also as a developer for certain features
• Contribute to Agile ceremonies (Backlog refinement – Validation of user story estimation, responsible for DoR and DoD within the scope of action, preparation of sprint reviews, etc.)
• Ensure deliveries are in line with sprint planning
