WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • Perform accounting in line with Romanian GAAP and tax laws
  • Daily operation of invoices from suppliers checking purchase and sales journals before closing VAT
  • Act as first contact for finance-related employee queries
  • Improve and develop accounting processes
  • Support internal and external audits
  • Contribution to the 3-year medium-term financial planning and to the activities related to the monthly and annual financial statements

WHAT QUALIFICATIONS YOU SHOULD HAVE

  • Completed Bachelor's degree in finance/economics and completed certified accountant qualification/registration as certified accountant
  • Several years of work experience in accounting, preferably in a general role
  • Confident skills in MS-Office programs, excellent knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint
  • SAP / Power BI (and similar) knowledge is an advantage
  • Business fluent in written and spoken English and Romanian, knowledge of German is an advantage
  • First experiences in IFRS accounting desirable
  • Analytical mindset and ability to work independently
