Our jobs involve developing maintaining and integrating state of the art, mission critical solutions for core insurance and record keeping systems, in an international context for a leading European Insurance Group.

You will work in a multinational team focusing on a low code development platform by Pegasystems. As part of this team, you'll work in an agile, cross-functional setup focused on developing and supporting an array of Pega applications.

The team is responsible for designing solutions based on business and technical requirements, aligned with delivery timelines. You'll ensure the delivered architecture meets customer expectations and contributes to their success, while also handling solution design, code reviews, PoCs, incident management, supporting the more junior colleagues, and maintaining end-to-end coverage with effective monitoring.

Your responsibilities

  • Implementation of solutions on the PEGA platform from design through to unit testing
  • Work in teams together with Scrum Master, DevOps, Infrastructure Team and Project Managers
  • Bug fixing and troubleshooting
  • Documentation of completed solutions
    Packaging and Deployment of Releases.

Required skills

  • University degree in Computer Science or similar
  • Minimum 3 years of experience working with Pega 7; experience with Pega Constellation is a plus
  • Pega CSA or CSSA Certification
  • Knowledge of object-oriented programming, web technologies and relational databases
  • Knowledge of APIs, especially SOAP/REST
  • The ability to take a user story and analyze it into user interface, data and process components
  • Ability to critically test your own implementation
    Fluency in English – both written and spoken.

Desirable skills

  • Java development experience
  • Experience in business process management and case management implementations
  • German language skills
    Specific experience in Insurance or Banking industry will be a plus.
