We are looking for a software development engineer in Test eager to work in a team of innovators and contribute to a suite of test automation solutions that QA our apis, flows and tools. You will be working in an Agile mode, frequently collaborating directly with product management at a fast pace and deliver high quality tests.
As a Software Development Engineer in Test on the CoSS team, you will design, build, and maintain test frameworks and infrastructure that enables the delivery of high-quality AI flows for our Amazon customers across the globe. It's everyone's responsibility to write tests, thus you are charged with designing, building and supporting the infrastructure and processes around them.
Your key responsibilities will be:
(1) Evaluate product functionality and create test strategies and test cases to assess quality;
(2) Implement priority 0 test cases and define a process for the software development engineers to maintain, at the team level, the suite of automated tests;
(3) Find, isolate, document, regress, and track bugs through resolution;
(4) Design and build test infrastructure and integrate into the build/release pipelines to establish continuous deployment;
(5) Work directly with Product Managers and Technical Program Managers to implement a behavioral driven product development process.
**This is a full-time on-site role for our office in Bucharest**

Key job responsibilities

(1) designing, developing and maintaining tests
(2) develop a testing framework;
(3) improving performance and operational costs;
(4) create a better release process;
(5) mentoring other engineers.

Compliance Shared Services (CoSS) vision is to provide best-in-class automation of controls for internal compliance and business programs (our primary customers) to lower costs in the Amazon flywheel on behalf of our end customers: buyers and selling partners. We provide easy-to-use shared services with data privacy, security and tenant isolation across all stages, while continuously raising industry standards for automation performance and cost efficiency, giving our program customers confidence that they have access to optimal cost-efficient automation options to better serve their end customers.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language
- Experience with full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Demonstrated experience in test framework design and development;
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
- Expertise in defining test plans for distributed systems and web user interfaces;
- Experience working with Agile methodologies like SCRUM and TDD;
- Ability to work and communicate productively and efficiently with business stakeholders;
- Experience with AWS or other cloud computing platforms;
