Transport Planner

Responsibilities:

• Manage and monitor the transports from suppliers and towards customers – main focus the sea/ air transports
• Manage and monitor the documentation needed for customs formalities
• Ensure that billing for the goods which required custom clearance is done correctly and on time;
• Assure document reliability and participate in customs audits (if the case)
• Monitor in internal records the status for each transport for a reliable reporting
• Inform customers/suppliers in case of difficulties, late delivery,
• Know the status of the goods in transit;
• Contribute to the team's performance through the monitoring, analysis and implementation of actions that contribute to the improvement of the cost / time / service;
• Work with DHL/UPS platforms, creating AWB for parcel delivery's.
• Schedule the trucks for loading/unloading at our facility.
• Fixed-term position of 2 years

Requirements:

• Minim 2 years experience in transport operations; focus on customs know how
• Knowledge of customs procedures and international commerce (road/ocean/air/multimodal);
• Auto-motivated person, proactive, high problem-solving skills, "out-of-the-box" way of thinking;
• Strong team player;
• Medium communication skills in English
• Able to handle pressure and meet critical deadlines.
