This is the most senior individual contributor career stage in sourcing at Microsoft — a high-impact role for those who are ready to lead from the front. As a Lead TalentSourcer, you will be instrumental in shaping our sourcing strategy and execution. You'll go beyond traditional sourcing to proactively pipeline exceptional talent, manage immediate hiring demand, and drive sourcing programs that elevate our function.
You'll have the autonomy to challenge the status quo, deliver innovative sourcing solutions, and raise the bar for performance across the organization. This role is not just about finding talent — it's about transforming how we do it. You'll coach and mentor sourcing teams, champion best practices, and build strong relationships with key stakeholders across the business.

Responsibilities- Leading sourcing strategies to identify and attract top talent, always striving to exceed key recruitment metrics and benchmarks.
- Collaborating with business leaders to understand their hiring needs and develop effective sourcing plans that deliver exceptional outcomes.
- Continually improve, drive and advocate for the adoption of best practices in sourcing and recruitment, setting new standards for performance and impact.
- Mentoring and coaching a team of sourcers to achieve sourcing goals, cultivating a culture of excellence, ambition, and continuous improvement.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent practical recruiting experience.
- Extensive experience in talent sourcing, recruiting, or talent acquisition, preferably within a large, global organization.
- Demonstrated expertise in developing and executing innovative sourcing strategies for a variety of roles and business units.
- Vast experience in stakeholder management, including experience partnering with business leaders and hiring managers.
- Proven experience to mentor, coach, and lead teams to achieve ambitious goals in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with sourcing technologies, social platforms, and applicant tracking systems.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
