Publishing Assistant with Chinese

We are looking for a Publishing Assistant with Chinese to join us in supporting the preparation of our publishing projects for production. You will guide authors through manuscript preparation and submission, coordinate peer reviews, check manuscripts for quality, and keep project data accurate in our ERP system.aEUR-

You will work closely with colleagues in various departments, and should have a proactive, critical-thinking approach to managing your work. Training and support will be given, but a self-starter approach is very welcome.

Required Qualifications and SkillsaEUR-aEUR-

• Fluency in Chinese and English
• Strong verbal and written communication skillsaEUR-aEUR-
• An understanding of academic publishingaEUR-aEUR-aEUR-
• Organized and adaptive mindsetaEUR-aEUR-

Desired Qualifications and SkillsaEUR-aEUR-

• Ideally, a background in Humanities or Social sciences
• Proofreading and or copy-editing skills would be an advantage - Management of our publishing projects from post-acquisition to handover to production
• Guiding and helping our authors with manuscript submission
• Checking the submitted manuscript for quality and completeness
• Organization and coordination of peer reviews
• Entering and updating project data in our ERP system
