Job Description

LOCATION:

Bucharest, Romania

TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Operate and manage a complex, multi-vendor test environment comprising approximately 2,000 virtual machines
  • Continuously evolve the test landscape in line with internal R&D and business requirements
  • Deploy, administrate, and operate new test environments featuring specialized test scenarios across diverse industries (e.g., Healthcare, Insurance, Finance, etc.)
  • Take full ownership of agreed core technologies, ensuring optimal performance and security
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute routine maintenance tasks to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency
  • Perform continuous monitoring and resource planning to guarantee optimal test environment performance
  • Automate various process steps to streamline operations and improve reliability
  • Actively contribute to patch and vulnerability management, ensuring compliance with security standards
  • Serve as an internal consultant to R&D, providing expertise and guidance on IT infrastructure and emerging technologies

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A versatile IT professional with a passion for exploring new technologies and taking proactive ownership of responsibilities
  • Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in IT administration
  • Advanced proficiency on managing Microsoft technologies
  • Basic experience with Linux (multiple distributions) administration
  • Strong communication skills with fluency in both written and spoken English
