Job Summary:

Ensuring efficient, timely and accurate management and collection of accounts receivables.

Processing and managing payments received.

Performing and developing daily accounts receivable tasks.

Identifying & helping to develop processes & best practices

Key Tasks And Responsibilities

Follow up, collect and allocate payments
Perform account reconciliations
Monitor customer accounts for non-payments, delayed payments and other irregularities and take appropriate actions
Responsible for all routine collection activity on overdue accounts and working closely with the collection agency to recover debts.
Communicates with internal/external customers concerning collection related issues
Research and resolve payment discrepancies
Maintain accounts receivable customer files and records
Investigate and resolve internal & customer queries
Responsible for timely completion of accounts receivable month end closing
Enlists sales, other teams and management when necessary to accelerate the query/dispute resolution process
Assists with the preparation of year-end schedules and audits
Recommends improvements to accounts receivable and collection procedures.
Supports continuous improvement and initiatives for implementation in the Order to Cash department
