Flutter UK & Ireland are the UKI region of Flutter Entertainment. They unite a dozen brands including powerhouses Paddy Power, Betfair, Tombola and Sky Betting & Gaming, bringing together hundreds of teams and thousands of colleagues, who create trusted entertainment for millions of customers every week.

Role Overview:

We are looking to hire a talented Associate iOS Software Engineer who possesses a passion for pushing mobile technologies to the limits and will work with our team of engineers to develop, improve, and maintain the next generation of iOS applications.

Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities:

1. Application Development Support

2. Assist in designing, developing, testing, and maintaining iOS mobile applications.

3. Write clean, scalable, and efficient code under the guidance of senior engineers.

4. Collaboration

5. Work closely with team members (developers, designers, product managers) to implement app features and user interfaces.

6. Participate in code reviews and team meetings to discuss technical solutions and receive constructive feedback.

7. Bug Fixing & Maintenance

8. Help identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues in existing iOS applications.

9. Assist in updating, refactoring, and optimizing app performance.

10. Testing

11. Write and execute unit tests to ensure code reliability.

12. Help conduct integration testing and support QA processes.

13. Documentation

14. Contribute to technical documentation for code, processes, and APIs.

15. Document new features, bug fixes, and relevant changes for future reference.

16. Learning & Growth

17. Stay current with new iOS trends, frameworks, and development tools.

18. Willingly learn from more experienced developers and attend professional development workshops/trainings.

19. Adherence to Standards

20. Follow company coding standards, best practices, and procedures.

21. Ensure compliance with Apple's design and deployment guidelines.

Skills, Capabilities & Experience Required:

• Some hands‑on experience with iOS development, either through internships, academic projects, or 0–1.5 years of professional work.
• Enthusiasm and passion for building user‑friendly mobile applications that customers will enjoy.
• Exposure to Agile development methodologies (e.g., SCRUM) through coursework, training, or prior projects.
• Basic understanding of RESTful APIs and how to integrate them into iOS applications.
• Ability to design and implement simple, maintainable user interfaces with guidance from senior developers.
• Awareness of software development best practices and the app release cycle.
• Familiarity with CI/CD platforms and pipelines (can be from academic, project, or internship experience).
• Basic knowledge of Git or other version control systems for collaborative coding.
• Understanding of fundamental concepts in multi‑threading and asynchronous code (theory and/or small‑scale practical use).
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English and willingness to collaborate in a team environment.

• UI features are highly data driven and developed taking in consideration best user interaction;
• Our Continuous integration pipeline is based on GitHub Workflows;
• We develop multiple internal SDKs that need to be modular, reusable and stable;
