Machine Learning Engineer

We are currently looking for a passionate and skilled Machine Learning Engineer to join our growing Data & AI team. In this role, you will play a key part in designing, building, and deploying scalable ML solutions that solve complex business problems and deliver measurable impact. You'll collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and business stakeholders to bring models from concept to production, ensuring they are robust, efficient, and aligned with our strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and productize Machine Learning models in the cloud using Azure services and Databricks.
• Work closely with data scientists, engineers, and product teams to understand business requirements and objectives and design Machine Learning solutions that meet those requirements.
• Perform feature engineering for data preparation for Machine Learning models.
• Collaborate with the Cloud team and the Data Science Hub in the implementation and maintenance of projects that use Machine Learning.
• Build and maintain data pipelines and model deployment workflows.
• Optimize and improve the performance of Machine Learning models in the cloud.
• Document and communicate results and findings to team members, stakeholders, and business and IT teams.
• Stay up to date with the latest ML research, tools, and best practices.

Position Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or related technical field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in machine learning model development and deployment.
• Experience with Azure cloud platform and MLOps tools.
• Good knowledge of Azure services, Azure Cognitive Services and Databricks. Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform. 
• Experience in CI/CD and automation of the deployment of Machine Learning models and applications. 
• Familiarity with APIs, microservices, integration.
• Knowledge of responsible AI practices and model evaluation techniques. 
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in cross-functional teams.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in both local and international teams. 
• Fluent in English.
• Experience in the Insurance industry is a plus.
