As a Backend Tech Lead, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing our backend architecture. You will lead the development of scalable, high-quality software while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration with frontend and other system components.

What You'll Be Doing:
  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems and microservices.
  • Drive technical decisions and define best practices for backend architecture.
  • Implement clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following industry best practices.
  • Collaborate with frontend engineers, product managers, and designers to develop integrated solutions.
  • Optimize system performance, scalability, and reliability.
  • Ensure a high level of security and data protection.
  • Utilize cloud technologies and DevOps tools to streamline development and deployment processes.
  • Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and mentoring of junior developers.
What We're Looking For:
  • 5+ years of experience in software software development, including at least 2 years in a tech leadership or a similar role
  • Experience in at least one strongly-typed, backend-related programming language, ideally Golang.
  • Hands-on experience with scripting languages, Python being required.
  • Expert knowledge in backend development and cloud architectures.
  • Proficient in developing and deploying microservices in distributed environments with a strong understanding of DevOps principles and processes.
  • Practical experience and good knowledge of Event-Driven Architectures and Systems
  • Proven experience with NoSQL and RDBMS databases.
  • Strong understanding of modern data science principles and tools.

Nice to have:

  • Experience with full-stack development.
  • Expertise in DevOps practices and tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, and Jenkins.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in coaching and developing junior team members.
