Chief Accountant

For our client a manufacturer of charge air coolers, intercoolers and cooling towers, we are searching for a Chief Accountant in Ghimbav, Brasov.

Main Responsibilities:

• Overseeing and partaking in accounting and plant controlling processes to ensure accuracy and efficiency;
• Ensuring compliance with local and international accounting standards and tax regulations;
• Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements;
• Supporting budgeting, forecasting, and cost control initiatives;
• Managing tax reporting and liaising with external auditors and authorities;
• Implementing and maintaining internal financial controls;
• Collaborating with key stakeholders to support financial decision-making.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field;
• Experience in both accounting and plant controlling, preferably in a manufacturing environment;
• Experience with ERP systems and advanced Excel skills;
• Knowledge of IFRS and local tax regulations;
• Strong communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
