What you will do as a Toolshop Engineer:

• Design molds and tooling for injection molding processes using CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, CATIA);
• Develop 3D models and 2D drawings of molds, components, and assemblies;
• Collaborate with tool makers and vendors to oversee the fabrication of molds and tooling;
• Conduct design reviews, and modify designs as needed based on feedback and production requirements;
• Work with Process Engineers and Production teams to optimize molding processes, cycle times, and part quality;
• Ensure all mold designs meet or exceed industry standards and quality requirements.

What will you need to succeed:

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field;
• 3+ years of experience in tool design for plastic injection molding;
• Proficiency in CAD software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, CATIA, or equivalent;
• Strong knowledge of mold design principles, materials, and injection molding processes;Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot mold and process issues.
